Our services & your project agreement

builtbya² is operated by Aidan Mehal and Antonio Scialpi. We provide website design, development, redesigns, hosting, maintenance, and content updates.

Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a project, reserve a launch date, or authorize work. Each project’s scope, price, schedule, and responsibilities are documented in a customer agreement. Review that agreement before proceeding; this page is a general explanation of our service terms.

Pricing & scope

A one-page website starts at $149. Each additional standard page starts at $100. These are starting prices; the final quote depends on the agreed scope.

Advanced functionality, integrations, e-commerce, and unusually complex pages are quoted separately. Hosting and maintenance are optional and quoted monthly, separately from the website build. Requested content updates are quoted around the changes needed.

Payment & cancellation before deployment

A down payment is required, with the remaining balance due on deployment day. The amount is set out in the project agreement. Subscriptions start on the day of deployment.

If you choose to cancel before deployment, the down payment is non-refundable, subject to applicable law. Review the project’s payment schedule and cancellation terms in your customer agreement before making a payment.

Timing & revisions

Standard projects typically take 5–10 business days; larger projects typically take 7–14. These are estimates. Final timing depends on scope, customer responsiveness, content availability, and requested integrations.

Standard projects include five revision requests during the established revision window. Larger projects may include additional revisions based on size and scope. Additional revisions outside the agreed scope start at $49. The project agreement establishes the revision window and scope.

Content & ongoing updates

Customers must supply photography and logos. Include your available content and any content needs when requesting a quote so responsibilities can be addressed in the project scope.

The standard service does not include a system for editing your own website. Content updates can be requested and quoted separately. Copywriting, third-party tools, and additional functionality are included only when specified in the agreed scope.

Website, source code & domains

builtbya² retains ownership of the website and its source code. Source code can be released to the customer upon request. The customer agreement documents the final transfer terms.

Customers normally own their domain. If requested, builtbya² may register, own, and manage the domain on the customer’s behalf. Domain ownership and transfer terms are documented in the customer agreement.

Hosting & subscription cancellation

Hosting is optional. The hosting and maintenance services selected for your website are specified in the customer agreement.

If you cancel hosting, service continues until the subscription renewal date and ends if payment is not received. Contact us before that date to discuss the end of hosting and any transfer arrangements under your agreement.
