How builtbya² handles information from website visitors and project inquiries.
Last updated:
Who we are
builtbya² is operated by Aidan Mehal and Antonio Scialpi. This notice covers builtbya2.com and inquiries about our website design, development, hosting, and related services. It does not describe the privacy practices of websites we build for customers.
You can contact us about this notice or your information at admin@builtbya2.com.
Information you provide
When you request a quote or email us, we receive the information you choose to provide. The quote form asks for your name, business name, email, phone, industry, website address if applicable, project description, estimated pages, functionality, budget, preferred launch date, and permission to contact you. Optional fields cover your audience, content, design preferences, domain and hosting, support needs, and timing.
We use inquiry information to understand your project, prepare a quote, and contact you about the request. The form’s permission to contact you concerns your inquiry; it is not consent to join a marketing mailing list.
Please do not include passwords, API keys, payment details, or confidential customer records in the form.
How the form and email work
When you submit the form, Cloudflare processes the request and Resend sends the project details to admin@builtbya2.com, in inboxes managed by builtbya². Your email address is included as the reply address. Incoming email for our domain is routed through Google. Our email services process and store correspondence.
The website application does not keep inquiries in a database or save form entries in browser storage. If online submission is unavailable, preparing a project brief keeps the entered details in the current page until you choose to send them by email. Emailing us directly uses your own email service and our email service.
A submission confirmation means the email service accepted the request for delivery. It does not establish that the message has reached the inbox.
Hosting, security & analytics
builtbya² uses Cloudflare to host and protect this website. It processes technical request information, which may include your IP address, requested page, browser information, and timestamps. The quote endpoint uses IP-based rate limiting to help prevent abuse.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as a service that does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting to track individual visitors. This is separate from Cloudflare’s hosting and security processing.
The website application does not add advertising pixels or save form entries in cookies. Cloudflare security or Access sign-in features, when used, may use cookies needed for those features.
Providers & retention
We retain unsuccessful project inquiries for two weeks, then delete the correspondence from the inboxes we manage. If an inquiry becomes a project, its project and billing records are handled separately from unsuccessful inquiries. Contact us about retention of a particular record.
Cloudflare, Resend, and Google process information to deliver hosting, analytics, security, and email services. Provider delivery logs, security records, and backups can have retention periods separate from our inquiry correspondence. Provider processing may take place outside your state or country.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the form only for the business and contact information needed to discuss your project.
Questions & privacy requests
Email admin@builtbya2.com to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or tell us you no longer want to discuss your inquiry. Include enough context to identify the correspondence without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Privacy rights and any applicable exceptions depend on your location and circumstances. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information before acting on it.
Updates to this notice
We will update this page when our information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
